As a former runner, I switched to walking because of injuries and to reduce bodily impact. I began racewalking to improve my fitness, weight loss and to manage diabetes 21years ago. I regularly compete in 3k, 5k, and 10k races. My current goal is completing the 50 state half marathon challenge.

Many exercisers who walk would like to be faster. My greatest satisfaction is helping walkers meet that goal by teaching improved form and technique for both speed walking and racewalking. I have been a USA Fit Denver member off and on since 2003 and I’ve had the pleasure of coaching Denver Fit walkers for four years.
